Morning Talk with Roy: Finding Your Spiritual Home

Morning Talk with Roy: Finding Your Spiritual Home

Good Friday Morning! Grab a cup of coffee, tea, or your favorite morning brew, and let's take a moment to talk.

"And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the habit of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:24-25)

As believers, we were never meant to walk alone. God designed us to be part of a community that uplifts, encourages, and supports one another. That's why finding a church home is crucial to our spiritual growth.

Can I ask you a question? Did you once attend church and leave because of a negative experience or because someone hurt you? You're not alone.

I've been in those shoes too. I was hurt by individuals in the church, and I almost walked away. The reality is, when my time on Earth ends, I don't have to answer to those who hurt me, I have to answer to God, and the same goes for you. Despite the pain, I chose to stay where God had called me to, and through obedience, I've experienced growth, healing, and a deeper relationship with Him.

As you seek a church home:

  •  Look for a community that unapologetically preaches the truth of God's Word, including the reality of Heaven and Hell.

  •  Find a church that values scripture, teaches sound doctrine, and fosters meaningful relationships.

Remember, people will fail you, but God never will. Don't let someone's imperfections drive you away from God's perfect love.

As I close out today's message, let me take a moment to remind you that: You are AMAZING, you are LOVED, and you are WORTH IT. Don't forget it! I hope you have a blessed day, filled with joy, peace, and God's presence.

With Love,

Roy Jones on Wheels
