Good morning, friends!
Welcome to another "Morning Talk with Roy"! Grab your morning beverage, grab a bite to eat, and let's start the day together!
"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers." - Ephesians 4:29 (KJV)
Today, let's reflect on the power of our words. As the Bible reminds us in Ephesians 4:29 (KJV), "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers."
As Christians, we're called to use our words to edify and share the love of Jesus, bringing hope and encouragement to those around us. Our words should be a reflection of God's love and kindness.
But regardless of our individual beliefs, we all share a common humanity. Our words have the incredible ability to build up or tear down, heal or hurt, and inspire or discourage.
Before speaking, ask yourself:
"Would I want someone to say this to me?" Will my words lift someone's spirits or weigh them down? Will they bring hope or spread fear?
Let's strive to speak life-giving words today—words of encouragement, support, and kindness. Every conversation, message, or comment has the potential to make a lasting impact.
As followers of Christ, may our words be a testament to His love and grace. And to our friends from all walks of life, remember that our words have the power to create a positive ripple effect in our communities.
May our words be a blessing to all who hear them.
